The Quantification Settlement Agreement (QSA) had turned 20 years old, calling for a celebratory event. The landmark decision quantified the rights to Colorado River water with innovative features such as the agricultural to urban water transfer which transferred conserved water from the Imperial Valley to San Diego.
The event branding celebrates the occasion while remaining serious enough for the distinguished crowd of guests and importance of the water deal. In addition, the famous San Diego water history book, To Quench a Thirst, was redesigned and debuted at the event as the 20th anniversary edition with a new look and updated content.
Identity

Color
The QSA involved multiple partners including: Metropolitain Water District, Imperial Irrigaiton District and the San Diego County Water Authority. The blue color scheme represented the multiple water agencies, while the gold injected a celebratory flair.

Applications
The logo took center stage on the podium stand, appeared on event signage and infographics. The 20th Anniversary edition book debuted at the event, and lived on to be used as an educational tool. A custom step & repeat was created and provided a backdrop for the event.
